Acupuncture against back pain

A German study tested more than 1,000 people has found that the best treatment and the most effective way to combat back pain is acupuncture.

The participants were aged between 18 and 80 years. Some of them were treated with conventional medicine from drugs and physiotherapy. The other with acupuncture.

Scientists from the Ruhr University Bochum also treated patients with false acupuncture what worked as a placebo for some participants.

The outcome of the study resulted in acupuncture, although it is used with punctures in places that are not keys, is the most conducive to lumbalgia.
