Collaborating Bodies in Intercountry Adoption (ECAI)

 

They are associations, foundations and other non-profit organizations. They are accredited by the autonomous communities and countries of origin of the children.

 

The statutes of the order ECAIs appears as the protection of minors and intemediación between people who choose to adopt and places of origin of the adoptive parents.

 

One of its main functions is to help families get the application for adoption. It consists of the psycho-social report, the certificate of fitness and personal documents of the applicants. Other responsibilities include:

 

·  Information, training and preparation for international adoption.

 

·  Translation, legalization and authentication of documents application for adoption.

 

·  Processing of documentation and the record in the country of origin of the adoptee.

 

·  Track record pushing the adoption procedure.

 

·  Up to applicants in proceedings relating to the adoption, as soon arriving in the country during their stay.
