Requirements for marketing CITES species

 

Requirements for an animal trade in Appendix II

 

To import or export of the species in Appendix II of CITES number requirements to be followed are as follows:

 

·  To export requires an export permit from the Management Authority of the exporting country. Issued when the specimen was acquired legally.

 

·  To re-export requires a re-export certificate from the Management Authority of the State of re-export. Only broadcast if the specimen was re-exported under the laws of the Convention.

 

·  The animals or plants that are alive should be transported in a manner that did not suffer any damage.

 

·  No permission is required for the import of the Management Authority of the State of import unless otherwise specified by law.
