Requirements for marketing CITES species

 

Requirements for an animal trade in Appendix III

 

At the time of import or export any of the species included in Appendix II must meet the following requirements:

 

·  To make exports from a country with an animal listed in Appendix III requires an export permit from the Management Authority of the State. Issued when the specimen was acquired legally.

 

·  To make an export of another State is required certificate of origin issued by the CITES Management Authority.

 

·  To re-export requires a re-export certificate from the Management Authority of the State of re-export.
