History of cinema - Introduction

The film is a technique involving in the shooting of images quickly and successively in order to get feeling movements, which are called frames.

 

These tapes are recorded in celluloid form of chemistry. Subsequently are reproduced with the projector is a device that consists of optical and mechanical components.

 

Origins

 

Since the beginning of time man has tried to represent the movement of the scenes of daily life.

 

In the sixteenth century came the camera obscura which consisted of a box with a black interior and a hole in it to project what was happening outside.

 

A century later Athanasius Kircher invented magic lantern. It was a box with a light in which they moved drawings on glass which were increased. Currently these devices are called diáscopos or projectors transparencies.

The silent film
