The French Assembly
will discuss next week the new immigration law. One of the novelties of
this is the amendment which provides for the ability to test DNA to
foreigners applying for a visa for more than three months.
That proof is requested or
consulates Diplomatic Offices of France
abroad in the case of those immigrants who claim to the fact of his coming
meeting with relatives residing in France.
The amendment was approved by
the deputy Thierry Marini and joins the tightening of immigration policy
that tries the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy.
