Egyptian religion

Egypt is a Mediterranean country crossed by the Nile. In their lands developed one of the great empires of ancient history from the year 3000 a. C until his conquest at the hands of the Romans in 31 a. de C. C.

ˇ  Anubis: god of the dead. The images are preserved as represented by the head of a jackal.

 

Burial

 

They believed in life after death and it is known that buried their dead with food and other belongings as amulets. They wanted to give their loved ones everything necessary for the journey to the hereafter.
