Flights - Introduction

The term refers to the flight travel in a plane between a point of origin and a destination. and a destination. This journey also can be made in a balloon or helicopter, for example.

 

History of Aviation

 

The first flight engine conducted in the United States Wrigth brothers. It took place on December 17, 1903 in an airplane built by themselves.

 

This subsequently led to the creation of the first aviation industry in the world. The company was developed in Paris in 1906 at the hand of the brothers Voisin.

 

In 1919, it conducted the first transatlantic flight with scales of history. The British John Alcock and Arthur Brown flew from Newfoundland (Canada) to Ireland.

 

Types flights

 

The flights can be classified according to the frequency of travel:

 

·  Regular: sets certain advance with the dates, times and routes.

 

·  Chárter: flight which is rented to a company and is not subject to the same conditions as a regular.

 

It also can be divided in response to the distance of the journey undertaken:

 

·  Local: is a destination which is a distance of less than 50 kilometers to the point of origin.

 

·  Voyage: is a destination which is at a distance of more than 50 kilometers to the point of origin. It can be divided in turn into:

 

- Transcontinental: the journey takes place between two points located on different continents.

 

- Transoceánico: trip which crosses an ocean. You can go through, for example, the Atlantic or the Pacific. These two flights are called transatlantic and transpacific respectively.

 

Remarks

 

The travelers conducting air routes long term may be affected by the syndrome of economy class. It involves the emergence of a blood clot in the lower extremities, poor circulation of blood that marks so long to be seated position.
