Foreigners - Introduction (Spain)

When an alien is not subject to any special provision like having the nationality of a member state of the European Union wants to enter Spain must submit documents such as passports, visas and justifying the reason for his trip.

Types of visas

 

Visas are documents that allow the stay (up to 90 days) or residence (over 90 days) in the country. It requested before reaching Spain.

Residence Visas

 

This type of visa allows a stay exceeding 90 daysAmong the reasons why they may claim for their application are relatives or study, among other circumstances.

 

This permit does not empower its owner to develop during their stay in the country any type of business or self-employed or. If the petition is based on family reunification, it is necessary that the alien resident in the country meets certain requirements.

 

Visa residence and work

 

It comes with an initial permit of residence. Some are to find a job and give citizens a maximum period of 90 days to submit an employment contract.
