Goodbye to paper tickets

The advent of the month of June 2008 will bring an end to the traditional airline tickets printed on paper. This will give way to the so-called electronic tickets.

 

These tickets are in flight through the Internet, so that the data is stored on the passenger's central computer of the company and only need a document attesting to the time of check luggage.

 

With this measure, companies in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) with the aim of reducing costs for both companies as well as for travelers, in addition to reducing logging.

 

IATA sees as the idea that announced in the year 2004 and that the low-cost companies had already taken for some time, comes to an end.
