The advent of the month of
June 2008 will bring an end to the traditional airline tickets printed
on paper. This will give way to the so-called electronic tickets.
These
tickets are in flight through the Internet, so that the data is stored
on the passenger's central computer of the company and only need a document
attesting to the time of check luggage.
With
this measure, companies in the International Air Transport Association
(IATA) with the aim of reducing costs for both companies as well as for
travelers, in addition to reducing logging.
IATA sees as the idea
that announced in the year 2004 and that the low-cost companies had
already taken for some time, comes to an end.
