Grecoroman mythology

The Greek Empire and the Roman Empire are two of the brightest cultural features of the western history. Their religious manifestations as well as its theater and philosophy are based European cultural.

 

The myths built around their gods have endured throughout history and are still used as symbols in books, films or advertisements. However, the religious significance that accompanied them was lost completely.

The religion of ancient Greece was polytheistic, is associated with mythology and filled everything. The gods had human forms were beautiful and lived on Mount Olympus.

 

There were gods and heroes semidioses. About all of them were built beautiful myths that have come to today. Notable among their deities: Zeus, Athena, Apollo, Poseidon and Hades.
