History
One of the first examples of
astronomy is the monument Stonehenge in Wiltshire England. He is
considered a sort of observatory of the Neolithic era in which it was predicted
stations.
In 1609 Galileo Galilei
was the first to use the telescope for astronomical observations and create
their own theories. He was condemned for not accepting the geocentric model
of the Universe defended by the church.
A Galileo was followed by
other great scholars such as Isaac Newton who was the creator of the law
of gravity and Edmond Halley who studied the orbits of the planets.
The astrophysics as born with
the first observation by J. Frauhofer in XIX, which found that
the light from the Sun is able to reflect components of the atmosphere.
To this end, the light from
the Sun must pass through a spectroscope that it is an instrument
capable of breaking this light into colors that compose key. From this point on
astrophysics is a big turnaround mainly due to technological and scientific
advances.
