Major hormones

 

Insulin

 

It is a hormone produced in the pancreas. Its main function is to regulate levels of blood sugar, controlling consumption and reserves of the same.

 

If blood sugar levels are altered several problems can arise. A drop in sugar leave the brain without power, it has very little ability to store glucose and cause a fault.
