The housing minister is studying the possibility of increasing tax deductions for tenants with the aim of promoting the rents of houses.

The purpose of this proposal is to try to balance the market purchase and rental housing, as well as facilitating access to decent housing for the vast majority of youth.

Moreover, if finally accepted the proposal, owners who rent their housing can increase the current tax deductions, which are about 50%, to be exempted if the tenant is aged under 35 years.
