Increased withdrawals from animals

The number of dropouts from animals by their owners increases significantly during the summer months. Among the animals that suffer more dropouts is Melville dogs.

The month of the summer that brings more dropouts is June to be the start of the holiday. Many people prefer to leave their animal in the street rather than take it with them or pay a special hotel.

This month is the most work for the Animal Protective Association who are overwhelmed by the large numbers of animals they collect. In some communities overbooking reach a state in which several animals have to live in cages for one.
