The Index of Consumer
Prices (HICP) is Harmonized indicator that looks for a common
measure of inflation to make international comparisons.
Influence
Like the CPI the HICP
influence in the so-called basket representative of household consumption.

HICP compared
with CPI
The HICP not cover all plots shopping
Spanish, which leaves out some services such as insurance or cars.
This index covers consumption
expenditure of households that are within each member state of the European

The HICP Europe has a total
added weight of a 7% over the CPI Spanish, mainly due to a change in the
coverage of population.
