On October 12, 2007 came into force on the Status of Autonomous after approval by Congress on June 28 and after more than three years of negotiations.

This new statute recognizes a number of rights and obligations in this collective self-employed, which will introduce gradually.

Among the clauses of the statute are able to enjoy 18 days of holidays, increased contributions to social security arrangements, recruitment of children under 30 years and the right to strike.
