Lowering the rate of household savings

The rate of household savings and the non-profit institutions directed at the service of these has been located in the second quarter of 2007 by 10%.

 

According to the report submitted by the National Statistics Institute (INE) this savings rate was down 1.3 points over the year 2006.

 

The savings households reached a figure of 16.683 million euros, equivalent to 10% of disposable income. This figure also represents a decrease of four-tenths respect to the previous period.
