Public employment is an
option to enter the job market. Many
chose this path for the stability of jobs and because the Administration
generates each year many vacancies in different fields:
· Central
Administration.
· Autonomous
Administration (regional).
· Municipal
Administration (city hall).
Getting one of these positions
The way to be part of state
employees is submitted to the opposition or tender to the various
administrations. These calls are published in the Official Gazette.
The Administration is
required to make public announcements and to conduct a series of tests on an
equal footing for all participants.
Once selected the opposition,
is due to register at the place and time specified. The documents required and
where and how to present them, appear in the call itself. At present, there is
also the option of enrolling in many cases via the Internet.
Types of
evidence
The Administration can
perform different types of tests for recruitmentIn the call, they tell the type
of test and his agenda:
· Opposition: consists of a set
of written or oral evidence to determine the fitness of the participants. They
are rated by an impartial tribunal.
· Contest: appreciate the
merits presented by the participants. The scores assigned to each merit appears
specified in the call.
· Competition: is a combination
of the two previous cases. It should conduct a series of tests and submit
certain merits.
Where these notices are published
The calls for the Civil
Service were held during the first quarter of each year. They are published in
the official gazette, the Commonwealth or the City Council, depending on
who performs the call.
You can also obtain
information by calling or coming to the Ministry of Public Administration
or visit their website. The press also often see advertised these calls.
General
Requirements
· Have age and title
to be specified in the notice.
· Not be
disqualified by the courts to exercise the civil service.
· To enjoy health
and not suffering from any physical or mental impairment that impedes the
normal development work.
· There have been
separate disciplinary proceedings by the Civil Service.
