The stages of evolutionary
model Gorski are:
· Transition: is the passage
through which the patient recognizes the disease. It must control the
use of chemicals in addictions intake or actions in behavioral addictions.
· Stabilization: the second step
is looking for the recovery of damages caused by addiction in the
patient. Moreover, it also wants to crisis management.
· Early Recovery: produced the
first internal changes in the patient especially in thoughts, feelings
and attitudes with regard to the substances that are addictive.
· Recovery media: are the external
changes in the patient such as a change to a healthier and more balanced
life apart from life caused by harmful addiction.
· Advanced Recovery: relates to overcoming
emotional and family issues. The patient dede grow despite the
difficulties they may have had in your life until you reach the age of
majority.
· Maintenance: it is based on
the stability of the patient so that it would no longer suffer a relapse. To do
this you must have a balanced life and personal development continuum.
