Contamination

 

This term is used to refer to all components outside the air, land or sea that nevertheless are present in them and contribute to a deterioration of the living beings that inhabit.

 

For example, the domestic sewage, and industrial waste dumped in the sea have polluted this environment to the extent that some species are extinct.
