Within the Civil Service,
different types of employees, each with a particular characteristics:
officials, working staff and interns.
The features of the contracts
and conditions of each type of employees are different. Also within the staff
there is a hierarchical division according to the degree required to
access the post before it.
Officials
They are not governed by the
labor law policy. Their contracts have greater stability and better
conditions, in terms of times and holidays, that an employee of the private
company.
They represent the majority
of workers in the State. The way to access an officer post typically involves
always having previously approved an opposition.
Types of officials
Within the corps of officials
distinguish the following groups according to their qualifications required for
each:
· Group A: Doctors,
Lawyers, Senior Engineers and Architects.
· Group B: Diploma
university, or Technical Engineers Technical Architects.
· Group C: Bachelor
Higher BUP or training cycles Higher Grade.
· Group D: Graduate
School Graduate or ESO.
· Group E:
Certificate of Education.
Staff
working
These employees are covered
by an employment contract, ie contracts benefiting from the rules
generally applicable to all Spanish workers, in addition to other common
standards with officials.
While working for the Civil
Service status is akin in some cases to an employee of the private company. For
example, their contracts can be permanent or temporary. Los de los funcionarios son siempre indefinidos. The officials are
always on indefinite.
Interim
Under this designation is
grouped with public employees who work on a temporary basis replacing
others who have category of staff. Their contracts are always temporary in
duration.
The appointment of agency is
in the order of a bag of previously created work. These lists
compiled according to the scores of applicants.
To enter the lists of
acting in some cases it is necessary to present an opposition. In other
cases, simply register and comply with the requirements.
