School canteens against childhood obesity

Due to the increase in obesity among children have started school canteens in the current 2007/2008 a campaign to get to give students a healthy diet and balanced and thus eliminate this problem.

 

One of the actions to be carried out is to create a menu that provides child about 30% of daily energy they need, in addition to promoting good eating habits.

 

To combat this childhood obesity menus will consist of a first plate including vegetable, vegetables, pasta, rice or potatoes. A second mainly meat, fish or eggs. The fruit and dairy products will be the dessert.
