The vaccination campaign against the common flu has begun at
the beginning of October in all regions of Spain.
The vaccine used for this new
season 2007/2008 will be the antigripal trivalent, which is recommended
by the World Health Organization (WHO).
This campaign is aimed at
people over 65, who have some pathology and to pregnant women. It is also
recommended to those groups of people who are at risk of contracting such as
health care workers.
El The Ministry of Health,
which foresees a decrease in cases of influenza, recommends early
vaccination since the effect of the vaccine takes two weeks to appear.
