At the end of last August the
Valencian town of Buņol held one of its biggest annual festival: Tomatina.
In this traditional festival crowd fighting for an hour with a very peculiar
weapon such as tomatoes.
Like every last Wednesday of
August the streets of this city were stained red tomatoes in a war
that had begun more than 60 years and annually has more participants both
Spanish and other nationalities.
This year the festival has
broken two records. On one side of the tomatoes thrown into battle with a
figure approximately 115,000 tons. On the other hand, it has also been beaten
the visitors, who have surpassed the barrier of 40,000.
