The main stocks exchanges

The stock exchanges are directed and controlled by the state of the country in which they find themselves. The major exchanges world that can be found are as follows.

 

New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)

 

It is the largest stock exchange and former USA. It was created in the year 1817 in order to control those shares were traded on the sidewalks of Wall Street.

 

It is considered the largest securities market in the world with a volume of about 25 billion dollars. It is currently headed by the NYSE Group.

 

Nasdaq

 

This is the stock market and automated electronic largest U.S. It has the peculiarity to negotiate around 6 billion shares in a day.

 

This market is run by the Nasdaq Stock Market. Its name is an acronym for National Association of Securities Dealer Automated Quotation.

 

Frankfurt Stock Exchange

 

This is the most important bag across Europe. It is dedicated exclusively to convertible securities and those that can be bought or allow the subscription.

 

It was formally established in the year 1585. The entity responsible for directing this stock market is the German Deutsche Börse AG.

 

London Stock Exchange (LSE)

 

It was the London Stock Exchange which was founded in the year 1570. At the beginning of century XVII was regarded as the main stock market in the world.

 

It is considered one of the world's largest stock exchanges. It has the peculiarity to retain listings overseas and British companies.

 

Tokyo Stock Exchange

 

This is the second largest stock exchange in the world. In this market bargaining takes place on actions subsequently granted a right acquisition.

Madrid Stock Exchange
