Types of
birth certificates
There are various items of
birth among them can be found as follows:
· Negatives: are those being
sought in order to establish that a person is not registered in a particular
Civil Registry.
· Positive: is required to
prove that a person is registered in a particular Civil Registry. In turn can
be divided into:
- Excerpt:
is a summary of the birth certificate. Several types can be found depending on
the language in which they appear as eg ordinary bilingual or multilingual.
- Literal:
it is a verbatim copy of the birth certificate, which listed all the data
explicitly.
