Types of curriculum vitae

While developing the curriculum is personal and must adapt to the post to which he is heading, there are different ways to develop the curriculum should know that.

 

Usually a distinction is made between chronological curriculum and curriculum functional. The use of either must depend on what they want to communicate to the customer.

 

Curriculum chronological

 

In this type of curriculum academic training and professional experience appear organized temporarily, from the farthest in time to the most recent or the reverse. It is the most common curriculum.

 

Facilitates the perception of professional development, but on the other hand, evidence periods of inactivity and the short duration of jobs.

 

Functional Curriculum

 

At this information appears organized thematically rather than chronologically. This allows to highlight the positive aspects. It is more difficult to prepare and organize, but it is easier to adapt to different jobs.

 

For example, in one section can highlight work experience in a particular sector, outlining the roles and responsibilities that were exerted, as well as the qualities that are needed for the job.
