Working from memory

Why is forgotten

Some things are forgotten because they are left to use for long periods of time, others are not learned the right way.

If memorizes a list of names and dates on the sole basis of rote learning, ie mechanically and without the intervention of reasoning, in a short time such information will be lost.

Sometimes the information is not forgotten, but never recorded entirely in memory in the long term. This happens because not enough arouses interest, not the eye and does not make any meaning.

In other cases the information was not forgotten, but it's hard to remember. This fact tends to be because at the time it was made storage an association wrong or different from that goal.
